Devolve apprenticeship levy for targeted skills development

Apprenticeship week always offers a great opportunity to highlight the brilliant work being done across the country at every level of our economy. Whether it be a small business taking on its first apprentice, a big company expanding its current apprenticeship system or councils and combined authorities working with public and private sector partners to boost the number of apprenticeships in the local economy.

It does however require us all to look at what isn’t working, or what could be improved.
