Directors welcome care wage report

Adult social care directors have welcomed a report that reveals more than 200,000 workers are being paid less than the minimum wage.

The report by Unison claimed around three-quarters of local authorities in England do not stipulate that homecare firms must pay their staff when they are travelling between appointments.
