Elderly in new campaign of civil disobedience

Up to two million older people in the UK denied the social care support they need could refuse to pay their council tax in protest.

Silver Voices, a campaign organisation for the over-60s, said it would back any older person withholding their council tax payments if their care needs have not been met by their local authority as part of a new campaign of civil disobedience.
