We established London’s adult safeguarding partnership to unite the myriad of agencies in London that had been working to different safeguarding policies and procedures. The differences meant people at risk were not always getting consistent safeguarding support.
Professionals encountered difficulties and frustrations as they worked across these multiple barriers – and risks to individuals and the wider system increased as a result.
