'Hypersensitivity' on data sharing needs to be overcome

Solace’s digital leadership chief says data-sharing is ‘about how we save lives’, and hypersensitivity within the sector about the risks involved needs to be overcome.

Chief executive of Wigan MBC Alison McKenzie-Folan told the House of Lords Public Services Committee that the global pandemic ‘has really brought data sharing into sharp focus and it has been central to what we’ve been doing in terms of the economic and social benefits, innovation and obviously in the delivery of joined-up services’.
