Former communities secretary Sajid Javid has called for a ‘fresh look at local government’.
In an interview coinciding with the virtual Conservative Party conference, Mr Javid said the sector’s structure was ‘fragmented and confusing’ and the delayed White Paper on devolution should be a ‘priority’.
