Jenrick: Centres bring together public services in virus response

Strategic co-ordination centres are being formed across the country with the nation on an ‘emergency footing’ to tackle coronavirus.

Speaking at a press conference, local government secretary Robert Jenrick said the centres were bringing together emergency services, councils, the National Health Service (NHS) and the military to plan local responses to the virus.
