Communities secretary Robert Jenrick has told councils to pass on government funding to care providers amid the coronavirus crisis.
In a letter to council leaders in England, Mr Jenrick suggested local authorities could provide temporary additional funding of up to 10%, advance payments and streamlined administrative arrangements to avoid the risk of providers failing.
