Croydon LBC’s interim chief executive Katherine Kerswell is expected to get the job permanently after winning unanimous backing from the council’s cross-party appointments committee.
Ms Kerswell was brought into the role in September, weeks before it was forced to issue the first of two Section 114 notices.
