LGA in 'unsustainable' warning after children's services overspend

Derbyshire CC, and Ealing and Croydon LBCs recorded the biggest children’s services overspends in the latest data available, analysis has found.

Net current expenditure for Derbyshire was £113m in 2019-20 - £30m more than the council’s original budget - while Ealing and Croydon recorded overspends of £25m and £21m.
