Labour's Burnham praises Conservative Gove

Labour’s Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham has praised new levelling up secretary Michael Gove and offered to help him ‘define and deliver’ the policy.

Mayor Burnham told The Andrew Marr Show that Mr Gove was a ‘minister who gets things done,’ adding: ‘He brings intellect to what he does.

'I don’t think levelling up will remain undefined for long.’
