Lancashire CC chief executive to leave after restructure

Lancashire CC’s current chief executive will be forced to step down because she does not have the qualifications necessary for the new role that has been created to head the council.

Senior councillors decided that Jo Turton’s role will be replaced by a combined position for the chief executive and section 151 officer.
