A senior Leeds City Council member has denied a ‘cover-up’ amid suggestions concerned frontline social workers have submitted a grievance over high caseloads.
Leeds’ executive member for social care, Fiona Venner, rejected claims of a cover-up but refused to discuss ‘confidential HR matters’ in a public meeting.
