Lord Bourne urges bids for Windrush Day events cash

Earlier this year, people across the country of all ages and backgrounds took part in a range of events to commemorate and celebrate the 70th anniversary of the arrival of the MV Empire Windrush in Britain.

From Brixton to Bristol and beyond, communities across the country held a rich array of street parties, seminars and cultural events, uniting behind a shared appreciation for the vibrant contribution that the Windrush Generation has made to every aspect of British life.
