An ongoing failure by Marsham Street to recruit a Chief Scientific Adviser (CSA) is ‘astounding,’ according to shadow science minister Chi Onwurah.
Ms Onwurah warned the failure could threaten the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’s (MHCLG) ability to deal with its many scientific and engineering challenges, including the testing of flammable cladding after the Grenfell disaster.
