MPs back social care ringfence

Three quarters of sitting MPs have backed calls by the Local Government Association (LGA) to protect adult social care funding in the next Parliament.

The survey carried out by ComRes and commissioned by the LGA found that 75% of current MPs think social care funding should be protected in the next Parliament in the same way that NHS funding is now.
