Four years before the Local Government Association’s Rewiring Public Services campaign, Wyre Forest DC launched its own ‘Rewyred’ initiative.
This 2009 vision was a prospectus for the regeneration and transformation of the district’s largest town, Kidderminster.
Five years on, the council has just held a Rewyred Renewed event and, on a whistle-stop tour of the town, council chief executive Ian Miller is keen to show off the progress that has been made and to talk about the future.
