The new president of the Association of Directors of Children’s Services (ACDS) has reiterated his organisation’s previous calls for a cross-government ‘ambitious strategic plan’ for children.
In his inaugural speech in London today, John Pearce said this should clearly set out ‘how we as a system can make this a country that works for all children’.
