Ombudsman raises role change fears

Questions remain about the future of the Local Government Ombudsman’s long-standing role in the redress system for children with special educational needs and disability (SEND).

A letter from Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman (LGSCO) Michael King said he was ‘very disappointed and surprised to see no mention of our role in the redress system’ in the SEND and Alternative Provision Green Paper.
