Place making and net-zero 'key tenets' in planning reforms

Place making, net-zero and good design will be priorities for the Government's planning reforms, a top mandarin has said.

The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities' head of design and planning reform, David Waterhouse, said the Government had paused planning reforms championed by former housing secretary Robert Jenrick to ‘take stock, listen and engage’.
