Redcar & Cleveland reduces cyber-attack cost estimate

Redcar & Cleveland BC has recalculated the cost of the cyber-attack it suffered down by £1.7m.

Having initially estimated that the February 2020 incident had cost it £10.4m, a financial impact assessment by the council has now reduced the figure to £8.7m.
