Redesign services for a COVID era, says CQC chief

The chief executive of the Care Quality Commission has called for services to be redesigned for a ‘COVID era’ that could last for many years.

Speaking at the National Children and Adult Services Conference today, Ian Trenholm said: ‘I think we have to start to think about a COVID era, an era where COVID is present in one way or another for many years to come.

'We need to normalise that.
