The sector should not give up on securing future health devolution deals despite the Government’s ‘centralising tendency,’ experts have urged.
Senior research fellow at the IPPR think-tank, Chris Thomas said there had been ‘stagnation’ since the health devolution deals with Greater Manchester and London a few years ago but he suggested local government still had an opportunity to fight for a ‘good outcome’.
