Support when and where it’s needed

The No Wrong Door project by North Yorkshire CC has turned support for young people on the edge of care on its head.

By placing specialists like police liaison officers, communication support workers and clinical psychologists in hubs that young people call home, there is no need for young people to wait months for appointments in unfamiliar hospital buildings to recap painful stories with another new person.
