Earlier this year I was delighted to welcome people from the worlds of business, education and training to the launch of the Supportive Employers group. I am very proud to have been there at the start of a programme which is already making a difference to people with special educational needs and disability (SEND) in Warwickshire and the businesses that are working with them.
The launch event brought together people dedicated to finding solutions to an issue which, if they are successful, could have immense benefits for our businesses, economy and, most importantly, some of the most vulnerable people in our society. Let me provide some context.
