Unlocking the potential of council assets

The inconvenient truth for many UK councils is that, as service fees, business rates, fines, and taxes have been squeezed during the pandemic, leaving them facing major shortfalls, traditional methods of income generation are unlikely to be sufficient enough to adequately manage the funding challenge.

Identifying and establishing future-proofed funding streams to deal with the gaps brought about by arguably the biggest financial squeeze for some years, therefore, has become increasingly important for local authorities.
