North Lanarkshire Council has announced plans for budget cuts of up to £105m over the next three years.

North Lanarkshire Council has announced plans for budget cuts of up to £105m over the next three years.

The cuts could see more than 1,000 jobs axed, and represent around 10% of the council's budget. The council said the plans were designed to deal with North Lanarkshire's predicted budget shortfall between 2013 and 2016.
