Virgin Care sues Surrey CC over ‘flawed’ deal

Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Care Services is suing Surrey CC over the procurement process of a children’s services contract.

Social enterprise Central Surrey Health and internal NHS providers have been named as the preferred bidder for the three-year, £82m school nurse and therapy deal, but healthcare business Virgin Care claimed there were ‘serious flaws’ in the procurement process.
