Warning 2021 polls will be 'most challenging' in a generation

Returning officers have been warned they face the ‘most challenging elections to administer in our lifetimes’ next year.

Elections that had been scheduled for May this year were postponed until 2021 following advice from the Government’s medical experts, with Bristol, Cambridge and Liverpool now expected to run four separate polls as a result.
