The past week in politics has left journalists running short of hyperbole as, one by one, the resignations thudded down on the Prime Minister’s doormat.
Over the coming weeks, as the number of candidates thins down, the policies of the contenders will gradually become apparent. But, for now, there is only one major talking point – taxes.
As we nose-dive toward recession, with the cost of living soaring, the Conservative candidates are largely appealing to the heartlands.
