Funny ain’t it how while our attention is on the virus, prices start creeping up like we’re not going to notice.
I mean, I can understand that a boozer puts a couple of pence on a pint to recoup some of their losses having poured gallons of the stuff down the drain or a restaurant slaps a surcharge on the fries, but what’s the point of jacking up train fares when no one’s travelling?
