Why we need more think tanks outside of Westminster

What is the UK’s biggest regional inequality? I think I’ve found a strong contender: the number of think tanks based in London dwarfs those in the rest of the country.

According to this list, compiled in 2018, over three quarters of UK think tanks are based in the capital. In recent months, several new ones have sprung up – all of them in London.
