The winner of the Local Government Challenge was announced at the Local Government Association’s (LGA) annual conference in Bournemouth.

Rob Comber, from Kent CC, won this year’s LG Challenge facing off nine other leading candidates in local government with his project proposal that aims to tackle the educational impact of child poverty through summer schools.
