Chief executive Clive Wright has been pushed out of Shropshire Council by the leading Conservative group after eight years as head of paid service.

Chief executive Clive Wright has been pushed out of Shropshire Council by the leading Conservative group after eight years as head of paid service.

A council spokesman said Mr Wright had ‘successfully led the council during the years of austerity local government has faced, balancing challenging budgets and delivering some very innovative projects'.
