200 more inspectors

The Care Quality Commission is recruiting another 200 inspectors to help it carry out its 2013/14 programme. The care watchdog has committed to carrying out 39,000 scheduled inspections this year.

The Care Quality Commission is recruiting another 200 inspectors to help it carry out its 2013/14 programme. The care watchdog has committed to carrying out 39,000 scheduled inspections this year.

‘We are looking for experienced health and social care professionals to carry out these inspections, focused within the adult social care sector,' said regional director, Malcolm Bower-Brown.
