87% of town hall staff admit greater work pressures, Unison survey finds

Nearly nine-in-10 town hall employees are suffering from increased work pressures, a trade union survey has revealed.

Nearly nine-in-10 town hall employees are suffering from increased work pressures, a trade union survey has revealed.

A poll of more than 14,000 local government workers conducted by Unison found some 87% agreed pressure has increased since 2010 and 72% admitted stress is affecting their performance at work.
