Our polling with Ipsos Mori and NLGN reveals that the majority of the public, while supportive of localising decision-making in principle, know little or nothing about the ‘devolution revolution’.
This is hardly surprising given the UK is historically a relatively centralised country and devolution from central to local government is still at a relatively early stage.
