A minister has been pressed to issue new guidance for councils on what support can be given to rough sleepers with no recourse to public funds (NRPF).
The Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee told new rough sleeping minister Eddie Hughes there has been widespread confusion in the local government sector since people with NRPF were put in accommodation under the Everyone In scheme.
