Care homes residents to miss out on first wave of jabs

The Government has admitted hundreds of thousands of care home residents will be left out of the first wave of COVID vaccinations when the rollout starts next week.

The care home residents will have to wait longer for jabs because the fragility of the newly licensed Pfizer vaccine means it will be delivered first in hospitals.
