Council pledges to stop housing residents outside borough

A London authority has announced it is to end out-of-borough temporary housing placements.

Leader of Enfield LBC, Cllr Nesil Caliskan, said the council would no longer house residents at risk of homelessness outside of the borough and bring residents currently living in the Essex town of Harlow back to the capital.
