Council refuses to put COVID patients in care homes

Enfield LBC has said it will not comply with requests to look at providing beds for COVID-positive patients in care homes.

The council has been asked to ‘explore the option’ of creating more ‘designated capacity’ in care homes as hospitals are inundated with patients.
