Councillors to boycott meetings

Councillors in the largest political group on Hartlepool BC have announced a boycott of meetings after one of their members refused to resign.

Gordon Cranney initially announced he was to stand down just hours after being re-elected in last week’s poll when it emerged he had admitted assaulting a woman.
