As Ukraine’s banks and defence ministry have been targetted by online attacks amid increasing tensions in eastern Europe, a private letter to council chief executives urged councils to ‘strengthen your cyber-security posture’ and ‘make sure that you have comprehensive, up-to-date incident response plans and continuity measures’.
