The capital's boroughs have made a bid for a bigger role in decisions over devolved powers and funding.

It comes after The MJ reported earlier this year that borough leaders were demanding more formal influence over powers devolved to the capital, with London mayor Sir Sadiq Khan understood to be open to talks.
