Devolution is back on the table. There’s an opportunity to take, to push power into community, to build a better future across our market towns and new towns, cathedral cities, coastal communities and countryside.

Local government has the most innovative, collaborative, responsive, trusted and successful leaders in public service. And we must not let the Prime Minister forget that we in councils are best able to level up health, ambition, opportunity, and success.
