Firms warn of elections timetable danger

Firms in the supply chain for elections have told ministers not to shorten the timeframe for holding polls.

The Association of Electoral Administrators and council chief executives' group Solace have already expressed concern over shortening the timetable from 25 days to 17, as proposed by MPs on the Joint Committee on the Fixed Term Parliaments Act.
