Government 'obsession with ownership' hampers council housebuilding

Government ‘obsession with home ownership’ is hampering council housebuilding efforts, MPs have been told.

Councils' calls for the reform of Right to Buy this week have been backed by research that found a lack of social housing was hampering the Government’s flagship scheme to end homelessness.
