'Grave concern' over vaccine rate in Westminster

Westminster City Council is still awaiting a reply a month after sending a plea to the Government asking for more resources to increase its low vaccination rate.

Council leader Cllr Rachael Robathan wrote to health secretary Sajid Javid in July calling for more staff, vaccinations and sites as ‘a matter of urgency,’ claiming the borough was a ‘petri dish’ as a destination for people from across the country.
