'Greater flexibility' for audit fees floated

The Government has published proposals to create ‘greater flexibility’ in agreeing audit fees following the Redmond Review.

A consultation has been launched on changes designed to provide ‘greater flexibility to ensure the costs to audit firms of additional work are met and reduce the need for time consuming case by case consideration’.
