Groundwork laid for combined authority

Hull City Council and East Riding of Yorkshire Council are pressing ahead with laying the political groundwork for a combined authority as they await a decision from the Government.

The creation of a joint ‘unitary leaders' board’ and Hull and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) could provide a starting point from which a combined authority could be formed.
